- Set up a structured workspace for your photo and video files using customizable folders and filename patterns based on metadata (e.g. resolution, frame rate, bit depth, etc.)
- Detect and import new media from SD cards, USB drives and cameras in one click
- Automatically organize files into your predefined workspace
- Instantly see key file properties like resolution, fps, bit depth as part of your workspace structure
- Get your media library ready for editing in just a few clicks
Droplens runs quietly in the menu bar with a clean, minimal interface. It's free to use.

- - Added new setting "Treat files with the same size as duplicates". If enabled, a file will be treated as a duplicate if another file with the same size already exists.
- Added new setting "Import new files only". If enabled, only newer (by date) files will be imported to the input location.
- Added new setting "Prompt the media import on external drive connect". If enabled, a modal window will appear prompting the media import start whenever an external disk is connected. - Improved SD card handling: when inserting a previously used SD card, the import will now start automatically after confirmation, without asking the user to reselect the folder.
- Enhanced error messages for better clarity
- Added support for HEIC photo files (e.g., from iPhones)
- Stability improvements and bug fixes
