Hue Doctor
A macOS App to analyse and retrieve useful information from your Philips Signify Hue Bridge.

Check out this macOS app that’ll help you make the most of your Philips Signify Hue Bridge.

This app will check for any errors, let you know how much battery life your devices have left, and even tell you if there are any connectivity issues. It’ll also give you a quick overview of the remaining capacity on the bridge. And the best part? It’ll create a home report that summarises all your lights, sensors, and dimmers by type, software, and hardware versions.

You can print or save this report as a PDF for future reference. It’ll have all the light and room names, bulb types, devices, and automations you need.

Oh, and did I mention you can easily switch lights on and off with just a few taps from the menubar? You can also add your favourite lights to a favourites list so you can access them quickly. And if you want to control the brightness, you can use a slider. There are buttons for cold, medium, warm, nightlight, dimmed, and bright settings.

And the best part? This app is free and has no ads. It’s private, doesn’t require a signup, and doesn’t have a “pro” version. It uses the latest Hue Bridge communication standard (API v2).
