Whether you want to start an app, run a script, a shortcut, or a command, Lingon has got you covered. You can schedule it to run at a specific time or on a regular basis, and it can even make sure that an app automatically restarts if it crashes.
Lingon can now also show a notification when a task is run, so you’ll never miss a beat. You can also assign a hot key to each task so you can, for instance, launch an app, run a shortcut or start a backup script from anywhere. And you can also run a task with Siri or from Shortcuts.
This newly rewritten app is very easy to use but packed with power. It is more intuitive but keeps all the essential features you love. You will get comfortable with it right away.
Lingon is available on a very affordable monthly subscription, so you’ll always have access to the latest features and you can try it risk-free.
To create a new task, just follow these simple steps:
1. Click on New in the toolbar
2. Give it a name
3. Choose under Run what you want to run or write a command
4. Then under When choose how often you want it to run
5. Save it
