QuickGlancer is a lightweight menu bar utility that gives you instant access to your webcam
preview. Perfect for checking your appearance before video calls, meetings, or recordings —
without launching Photo Booth or waiting for heavy camera apps to load.
- Instant Preview
Your camera feed appears in under 100ms. Click the menu bar icon, check your look, and you're
ready. No app switching, no waiting.
- Privacy by Design
QuickGlancer cannot connect to the internet. This isn't a promise — it's enforced by macOS.
The app has no network entitlement, meaning your camera feed physically cannot leave your
Mac. No analytics, no telemetry, no cloud sync. Your privacy is guaranteed by the operating
system itself.

Lives quietly in your menu bar. Left-click to toggle the preview, right-click for options. No
Dock icon clutter, no windows to manage.
- Multiple Camera Support
Works with your built-in FaceTime camera, USB webcams (Logitech, Razer, Elgato, and more),
and iPhone Continuity Camera on macOS Sonoma and later. Switch between cameras instantly from
the menu.
- Mirror Toggle
Flip your preview horizontally with one tap. See yourself the way others see you, or the way
you see yourself in a mirror — your choice.

Choose Small, Medium, or Large preview window to fit your workflow. Settings are remembered

Minimal Resources
QuickGlancer uses less than 15MB of memory when idle and under 80MB when showing your camera.
