描述
Core capabilities of SPE Expert Controller are: Controller, RF Information and Health information. These are supported by a Settings capability that permits configuration of, for example, the network or serial interface to which an amplifier is connected. All operations provided by the amplifier front-panel are supported by the App including, Power on/off, Input selection, Antenna selection, Operate and Set modes. Note: Amplifier firmware updates are not supported.
SPE Expert Controller supports Apple Accessibility; additionally it may be configured to show an 'Announce' button which, when selected, will 'speak' a report containing up to 20 operational parameters of the App and amplifier. Report content is configurable and may contain such parameters as: Tx/Rx mode, Band, Output power, Antenna SWR etc.
Requirements:
- MacOS 14 or later
- A USB/Serial interface supported by MacOS and connected to an SPE Expert 1.3k-FA, 1.5k-FA 1.5k-Taurus or 2k-FA RF amplifier or
- a TCP/IP network connection to a network/serial adapter that is connected to a SPE Expert 1.3k-FA, 1.5k-FA, 1.5k-Taurus or 2k-FA RF amplifier.

- This version is a minor update and contains the following changes:
a) The App now correctly identifies the SPE Expert 1.5k-Taurus model of amplifer in the amplifier health window.
b) In the ‘RF Information’ window, SWR field labels have been renamed to reduce ambiguity: “SWR
(ATU)” -> “SWR (Before ATU)” and “SWR (Antenna)” -> “SWR (After ATU)”. The ‘spoken’ report
has also been updated as follows: "Standing Wave Ratio before Antenna Tuning Unit is” and
"Standing Wave Ratio after Antenna Tuning Unit is”.
