Within modern screens there are many techniques used to smooth motion. These can also have a detrimental effect, yet correctly set some do improve the picture. Having a repeating pattern to assist the setting of motion controls is essential. TestCard Pro has test cards specifically design for motion testing on a screen.
Further, each test card has an information section to give you concise information and instruction on how to use it. The more that can be gained from each test card, the more information is provided. For ease of use the instruction are displayed on the main window while simultaneously displaying the test card respective testcard window.
TestCard Pro can be used with the standard display on MacBooks or on the external display of a Mac. If you have multiple monitors or external monitors for the MacBook you can set up a testcard for each screen and have them all change to the same testcard allowing for performance matching between all screens. It is a powerful tool.
Apple TV can be used as the external display interface using AirPlay Mirroring. Simply switch on AirPlay on the Mac. The app works as any other app to display a window which can be displayed on any of your screens.
