FlyCheck answers out loud now. Ask Siri "what's the weather at Seletar" and get the flight category, wind, visibility and ceiling without opening anything — by airport code or by name. Shortcuts can build on it too, so a daily check of your destination is something you describe once.

Important: this release also carries everything that was queued for 1.8, so if you are coming from 1.7 you are getting all of it at once.

• Density Altitude now works. It had never appeared on any station: the calculation waited for elevation data the weather service does not return, so the card stayed empty on every airport, everywhere. It now draws on a built-in table of 8,316 fields and converts pressure automatically, so the number shows up in Singapore and Sydney as well as in Denver.
• Cumulonimbus is now shown. The weather service reports convective cloud type and FlyCheck was discarding it, so a layer of cumulonimbus looked like any other cloud. The Ceiling card now names the layer, shows its height, and flags it in orange.
• The ceiling is now the lowest layer, not simply the first one listed.
• Missing cloud data reads "--" instead of "Clear", because an absent reading is not a clear sky.
• Freezing precipitation gets its own icon and colour, so FZRA no longer reads as ordinary rain.
• The menu bar shows "--" rather than "0kt" when a station reports no wind.
• Airport search now covers 8,316 airports, up from 142. Where a name matches more than one field, the larger airport wins.
• Reorder your watchlist from the context menu, so destination comes before alternates.
• Swipe a recent search away to remove just that one, instead of clearing the whole list.
• On macOS 26 and later the instrument cards are Liquid Glass, so they follow your transparency setting in System Settings. The app also says which build it is in About now.
