Description
An evil being known as the Great Lizard misused the magic inscribed in the "Book of Truth." This "Book of Truth," which was written with ultimate magic secrets and enshrined in a distant tower, was never to be used by those with evil hearts. Yet, a terrible event has occurred.
The “Book of Truth,” once only a legend, must now return to the hands of one with a righteous heart.
The Great Lizard unleashes terrifying monster doppelgangers and sets numerous magical traps within that legendary old tower, seeking to thwart anyone with a righteous heart.
Can you, the young man who rises for the princess—this story's protagonist—overcome countless challenges, seize the “Book of Truth,” and break the dreadful curse?
This is a role-playing game released in Japan in 1984. Players become adventurers, seeking the “Book of Truth” to lift the princess's curse. The game involves creating a protagonist from one of three classes (Warrior, Thief, Merchant) and takes place within a 10-floor tower (a 3D dungeon). Combat is random encounter, command-based, utilizing close-quarters fighting and items. The tower also features light puzzle elements, offering satisfying gameplay.
