Improved Sharing
Links to movies, shows, and watchlists now generate rich previews. Your texts will finally look intentional.

Cast Improvements
See the top cast at a glance, tap "See all" when you need to go deep on the sixth credited background actor.

Year Ranges for TV
Shows that ended now display the years they ran. RIP to the ones gone too soon.

Person Page Improvements
Age, career stats, and cleaner metadata layout on actor/director pages.

Tab Style Updates
The followers/following and ratings/reviews tabs got a fresh look. Small thing. We notice the small things.

Search Placeholders
Results without poster art now show a placeholder instead of a void of existential emptiness.

Watchlist Quick Actions
Tap any watchlist item to change its status, view the detail page, or remove it. The remove button is red so you feel something.

iPad Support
Showvie now runs on iPad with a proper sidebar and a wider watchlist grid. More screen, more movies, same you.

Private Accounts
Lock your profile so only approved followers can see your activity, watchlist, ratings, reviews, and who you follow. Follow requests land in notifications for you to approve or ignore.

Review Likes
Long-press the like count on any review to see exactly who liked it.

Bigger Text & Icons
Everything got slightly larger. Tappable things especially. Your thumbs are welcome.

Comment Likes
Like individual comments on activity feed items.

Thread Notifications
Everyone in a comment thread gets notified when someone new chimes in, not just the post owner.

Profile Sharing
Share your profile with a tap. Links show a rich preview with your photo and bio, so people know who they're stalking before they commit.

Movie/TV Indicators
A small icon now appears across the app so you always know what you're looking at before you tap it.

BUG FIXES

Watchlist Status Reset
Re-adding something you just removed no longer shows your old status. Fresh start. Clean slate. New you.

Live Comment Counts
Comment counts update instantly across the feed and profile. No more pulling to refresh to see what just happened.

Misc UI Polish
Fonts, colors, spacing. You probably won't notice. We'll know.
