Bug Fixes & Improvements

Gameplay

· Fixed an issue where loading a save created while picking up a journal could cause that journal to disappear permanently and become impossible to collect again. Missing journals are now also restored retroactively when loading affected saves.

· Fixed a soft lock that could occur during the Chromatic Glissando encounter in Sirene’s Dress level, when a dead expeditioner equipped with Shortcut and Second Chance pictos was swallowed.

· Fixed an issue on Gestral Beach where using the Rematch option after losing the volleyball minigame could create a blocked save.

· Fixed a visual issue where characters affected by Inverted would not have the correct color effect applied to their eyes.

Environment

· Fixed various environment issues (collisions, misplaced assets, missing or incorrect footsteps SFX) across Verso's Drafts, the World Map, and other levels.

Photo Mode

· Fixed facial hair of characters being blurred in the Photo Mode on the close distance if Shading was set to Epic.

· Fixed an issue in Photo mode that prevented the Inner Cone Angle and Outer Cone Angle options from affecting the shape of the preview light source.
Hotfix 1.5.1 (18/12/2025)Gameplay

● Fixed Monoco’s weapon “Cannaro” being unobtainable from Chromatic Machinapieds

○ Players who already defeated the boss will automatically receive the weapon in their inventory, unless they started a NG+(+) after that

● Fixed Esquim not applying Mark to all enemies when a skill had 0 hits.

● Fixed a targeting issue caused by using a Recoat item followed by ‘Retry Battle’, which resulted in the player being unable to target the middle enemy or character.

● Fixed a soft-lock when attempting to load a save without hovering any slot while backup saves were displayed.

● Fixed upgrade of the weapons to level 34 when spamming Upgrade weapon and change character buttons

○ Level 34 weapons have been reverted back to level 33

● Nerfed the hardest boss in Verso’s Drafts (red lifebuoy) by moving it slightly to make a quest easier.

Audio & Music

● Improved environmental ambiances and spatial audio for better immersion in Verso’s Drafts

● Enhanced audio mixes for select characters, combos, and finishers

● Multiple audio & music issues were resolved, including:

○ Missing music after defeating new Endless Tower bosses.

○ Missing subtitle line for Sciel in one of the new cinematics.

○ Missing Barbapapa status effect SFX when receiving a second stack.

○ Missing some SFX for Licorne enemy in Verso’s Drafts.

○ Missing SFX for Paint Cage explosions in Verso's Drafts.

○ Music and SFX not pausing when opening pause menu during cinematic sequence with slow motion enabled, resulting in audio desynchronization for the remainder of the cinematic sequence

Localization

Fixed various localization issues, including:

● Subtitles in Root Of All Evil cinematics disappearing too fast.

● Overlapping text in Pictos & Luminas lists.

● Autoplay dialogue options swapped when the title is set to LATAM Spanish.

● Incorrect text displayed during Flying Manor side quest when the title is set to Vietnamese.

● Verso’s skill Phantom Stars displaying HTML in combat when the title is set to Vietnamese.

We are aware of the various issues encountered, particularly the one reported by some of you who are having difficulty launching the title on Windows 11. This issue is related to the Windows Smart App Control feature. Turning it off to fix it is not recommended as this will remove the feature permanently from your system. We are investigating this issue and hope to resolve it as soon as possible so we suggest waiting for the next hotfix!
Update 1.5.0 (12/12/2025)

This patch contains contains a new playable area “Verso’s Draft”, multiple bugfixes, and improvements to the experience on handheld devices.

New Content

Verso's Drafts, a new playable environment, taking the characters of Expedition 33 to a brand-new location with new enemy encounters and surprises to discover

It’s located on the World Map, next to Lumière. Accessible starting the Act III

Esquie’s Underwater ability is required

New text and UI game localizations into Czech, Ukrainian, Latin American Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, and Indonesian, bringing the total number of supported languages to 19

Added FSR 4 support, including AMD temporal upscaling for sharper visuals and Frame Generation for smoother gameplay on compatible GPUs

New costumes for each member of the Expedition, giving even more customization options for players throughout their adventure

4 new boss battles for late-game players to overcome in the Endless Tower. They are variations from iconic bosses of the main game and designed to be the most challenging of them all

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where using Battle Retry after a cinematic or automatic trigger could spawn the player out of the world if the last save was created in a different location.

The playtime displayed on save files now accurately reflects total playtime, including time spent on Game Overs. (Note: this fix does not retroactively update existing save files.)

Fixed inventory behavior so that sort order now persists after closing the game menu.

Fixed an issue where the usage of particular diacritic marks (e.g. ^, ~, ´, `) in Windows is blocked after launching the title, requiring a reboot in order to have all French letters working again

Fixed equipment sort order not persisting after closing the Game Menu

Fixed an issue where character's order during their 'First strike' turns is left to right, regardless of characters' speed value

Fixed Breaking Death always breaking all enemies when the character dies. It should only break the enemy that killed the character. As a result, it shouldn’t work when the character kills themself anymore.

Fixed Boucharo giving +150% Critical chance instead of +50% Critical chance.

Major Visual Overhaul & Quality Fixes

We have just pushed a new update for The Lust City 2. While this might look like a "minor" update on paper, it actually transforms the entire visual experience of the game based directly on your feedback.

9,400+ Images Re-rendered!

Many of you reached out to let us know that the image quality in The Lust City 2 didn't quite match the high standards of our other titles!
We have gone back and re-rendered over 9,400+ imagesacross the entire game. You will notice significantly sharper details and a much more polished look as you journey through the jungle.

Some players have reported a glitch where moaning sounds persist even after a scene has ended, even after we've fixed what we've found. We’ve investigated this and found it is a specific Ren'Py engine issuetriggered when you scroll forward or backward through an animation.

Why it happens:Animations are set to "hide" on a click, but scrolling bypasses that command, leaving the audio loop active.

The Workaround:If you encounter a stuck sound, simply go back to the animation that triggered it and manually click your way through it.This will reset the audio correctly.

We haven’t found a permanent code fix for this engine-level quirk yet, but we are actively working on a solution!

Thank you for your continued support and for helping us make our games better with your feedback. If you haven't visited the jungle in a while, now is the perfect time to jump back in and see the difference!
Patch notes v1.1

Here's a list of all the things we've fixed for TLC2:

- There were a lot of animations with wrong resolution, so we've reuploaded them with corrected size (sounds for those animations will be added additionally)

- Moaning sounds that don't stop should no longer occur

- There was a bug with Deshira in meditation chamber where you had to visit her twice before proceeding with main story, this is no longer the case

- Since a lot of you asked for it, naming and relation setup is now available at the beginning of every playthrough (it is still available in options for changing at any point of your playthrough)

- Some smaller adjustments throughout code

Keep in mind that we'll release another patch in the future regarding localizations, since a lot of you gave us feedback about poor translations (if you're a native speaker of a localization where you notice errors, please contact us for collaboration on our Discord server).
