Description

Sheet Metal Bending Calculator is a practical tool for preparing sheet-metal bending jobs and planning production.

The application calculates setup time and bending time using part dimensions, material thickness, number of bends, complexity, handling requirements, tool changes, and production efficiency. Material thickness can be entered in 0.05 mm increments, while time coefficients change in 0.25 mm thickness bands.

The Tooling page provides a press-brake recommendation based on the integrated bending chart, including a recommended V-die opening, approximate inside radius, minimum flange, and chart force value. A localized tooling checklist helps verify actual material thickness, V-die suitability, tool wear, back-gauge position, and the need for a test bend before production.

The Tolerances page includes the EVS-EN 22768-1:1999 / ISO 2768 general tolerance table and an inspection sample-size aid. Customer drawings and technical documentation always take precedence.

You can create projects, save parts, reuse previous jobs, and import or export local data as JSON. The PDF work report includes technical data, time calculations, tooling recommendations, tolerances, notes, and inspection warnings. Pricing information is intentionally excluded from the PDF printout.

The application runs locally on Windows and supports Estonian, English, and Russian.
