Περιγραφή
Νέα Before you install: asklog runs coding agents that are not part of it. To start a Claude Code or Codex session you must already have that agent's own command-line tool installed on this PC and signed in to your own account with that provider; asklog neither installs nor includes them, and it has no account with them on your behalf. Plain shell sessions need nothing beyond Windows. asklog also requires a free asklog account to use at all.

asklog opens a secure door into the machine you already work on, so a session you started at your desk stays readable, answerable and alive from your phone or another computer.
An agent working through a long task is either making progress, stuck on a failure, or holding for one word from you. From anywhere but your chair, all three look identical: silence. asklog is what turns that silence back into a screen you can read and answer.
WHAT IT DOES
Point asklog at a project folder and it becomes a workspace. Open terminals in it - a coding agent, or a plain command prompt - arranged in tabs and split panes. Close the window and they keep running: the part of asklog that owns your terminals is a separate background program that outlives the window, so a long build or a long agent run is still there, with its scrollback, when you come back.
Sign in to the same account on your phone or in a browser and every machine on that account is already listed. Nothing to scan, nothing to type, no port to forward. On the same network your device talks to your machine directly; away from it, asklog moves to an encrypted off-network route automatically.
For agent sessions, asklog reads the agent's own transcript and draws it as a conversation beside the terminal, so you can follow what it did and answer it in words. When Claude Code asks permission to run something, asklog can put that question in front of you wherever you are, and Allow and Deny answer its own permission prompt.
WHAT WE CANNOT SEE
Your code never reaches our servers, and that is a consequence of where the keys live rather than a promise about our conduct. The session key is agreed directly between your machine and your device, afresh for each connection. Whatever network carries the frames between them sees ciphertext and routing metadata and holds no key that would open it. Neither do we. Sessions are never stored on infrastructure of ours.
Every device that can reach your machines is listed and revocable, and revoking one cuts its live connection at once.
GENERATIVE AI
asklog displays live output generated by the coding agents you run. That content is produced by the agent's own AI provider, on your own account with that provider, from the prompts you send - asklog does not host, train or call a model of its own, and it does not change what the agent wrote. Content generated this way can be wrong. Read it before you act on it, and answer an agent's permission prompts deliberately. If something an agent produced inside asklog is inappropriate and you want us to know, write to support@asklog.ai.
