ใหม่  GitHub Copilot CLI is a coding agent that runs directly in your terminal.

Describe what you need in plain language: investigate a failing endpoint, scaffold a new project, or prepare a pull request. Copilot reads your code, identifies what needs to change, makes the edits, and handles the Git workflow.

For larger tasks, you can start with a plan. Copilot scopes the work, asks clarifying questions, and outlines the steps before writing any code. Once the approach looks right, it can execute autonomously or move forward with your guidance at each step.

GitHub integration is built in. Issues, pull requests, branches, and CI pipelines are all part of the conversation, so there's no need to switch context. Organization policies, branch protections, and required checks are respected automatically, so it fits into existing team workflows without additional configuration.

Beyond that, it's designed to adapt. Connect the tools your team already uses, define project-level conventions, and choose the AI model that fits the task. The goal is to stay out of your way and help you ship.
