Markdown Visual Composer
Markdown Visual Composer (Md-VC) is a visual Markdown editor for Windows: write and format as in an ordinary word processor, and your document is saved as clean, GitHub-compatible Markdown.

WRITE WHAT YOU SEE
Headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, highlight, superscript and subscript, links and images, bulleted, numbered and task lists, blockquotes, code blocks and tables with column alignment: apply everything from the toolbar or with Word-style keyboard shortcuts. YAML front matter, HTML blocks, footnotes and alerts are preserved.

MARKDOWN ALWAYS AT HAND
One click switches to the Markdown view, with syntax highlighting, line numbers and search. Non-printing characters (spaces, line breaks, paragraph marks) can be shown in both views. Alignment and underline can be saved as GitHub-compatible HTML, or you can choose pure Markdown.

TABBED, LIKE A MODERN NOTEPAD
Open several documents in tabs you can reorder. Drag files onto the window, open them with a double click in File Explorer (.md file association) or from the recent files list. Encoding (UTF-8, UTF-16, ANSI) and line endings (CRLF/LF) are detected and can be changed from the status bar. Text zoom is independent for each tab.

PASTE FROM ANYWHERE
Content pasted from Word, Outlook, LibreOffice, Google Docs and web pages is cleaned up and converted to Markdown, lists and tables included. HTML files can be imported too.

EXPORT AND PRINT
Export to PDF, HTML, TXT, plain Markdown or Markdown with HTML, or print with the Windows print dialog.

MAKE IT YOURS
Six themes (Light, Dark, Solarized, High contrast, Nordic, Midnight black), text and code fonts, page width, spell check with the Windows dictionaries, user interface in English and Italian.

Your documents stay on your PC: Md-VC works on local files.
