Personal Git Server
جديد  Run your own private Git server on Windows with Personal Git Server — a self-hosted Git host that lives entirely on your PC. Create bare repositories, start the server, copy a clone URL, and push from any standard Git client. No cloud account. No subscription. No upload.

WHY SELF-HOST

Hosted remotes are fine until the code is private, the network is air-gapped, or you just want the remote on a disk you own. Personal Git Server is that remote. Pick a folder for your repos, pick a port, hit Start. The bundled HTTP engine serves a web UI to browse repositories and speaks Git smart HTTP so git clone, git push, and git pull work from the CLI, VS Code, or any other client on the machine or the LAN.

Everything stays local. Repos are ordinary .git directories on the folder you chose. Stop the server and nothing is talking to the internet.

KEY CAPABILITIES

★ One-Click Start / Stop — Choose a listen port (default 3000) and a repo folder, then start. Stop whenever you want. Status is always visible.

★ Create Bare Repositories — Add a new repo from the app. It appears in the list with a ready-to-copy clone URL such as http://localhost:3000/myproject.git.

★ Delete Repositories — Remove a bare repo from the folder when you are done with it.

★ Standard Git over HTTP — Clone, push, and pull with any Git client. No custom protocol.

★ Web UI to Browse Repos — Open the server URL in a browser to list repositories, trees, blobs, commits, and logs.

★ Copy Clone URLs — One tap copies the HTTP clone URL for a repo so you can paste it into a terminal or IDE.

★ Your Folder, Your Disk — Point the server at any folder. Repos are stored as name.git bare directories you can back up, copy, or move.

★ Configurable Port — Bind to the port you want. The live server URL updates in the UI.

★ Completely Offline — No account, no subscription, no telemetry, no upload. Works on a machine that never leaves the LAN.

★ Lightweight Native Engine — Pure C HTTP server plus native Git HTTP handlers. No Python, no Node, no Docker, no Linux VM.

MODERN WINDOWS EXPERIENCE

Personal Git Server is a native WinUI 3 app. A status card shows running or stopped, the listen port, and the live URL. Below that, the repo list with create, refresh, delete, and copy-URL actions. Dark workspace. The browser is only needed if you want the web UI — the server itself runs in the app.
