Açıklama

AVEVA TOOLS turns an Excel workbook into AVEVA System Platform objects. The workbook is the single source: no more typing things twice.

It does two things. The IDE import creates templates, their attributes and instances into the Galaxy, filed in the Area you pick, with the check-in. The export writes, next to the workbook, the .csv file the SIDIR driver expects.

On a template, each workbook row becomes an attribute with its data type, then gets the extensions you ask for: input/output, History, state alarm, log change, analogue scaling. The values follow: engineering units, input source, alarm priority, trend limits.

Simulate first. With “Write for real” unticked, the log says exactly what would be created, object by object, without writing anything into the Galaxy. An object that already exists is always skipped, never overwritten.

Before the export, addresses are checked against the declared driver type, LEGACY or SYMBOLIC. An address that does not match blocks the export, and the log gives the workbook row number.

The workbook is a plain .xlsx, with no macro. “New blank workbook…” (Ctrl+N) saves one wherever you want and opens it.
