Beskrivelse

RepoFlock Diff shows you what changed between two files or two folders.

Drop two files on the window, browse for each side, or start it from a terminal with two paths. Changed lines are paired side by side or shown in one column, the characters that changed inside each line are marked, and unchanged stretches fold away. Step through the differences with n and p (or F7 and Shift+F7), and find text with Ctrl+F.

It is not only for code. CSV and TSV files are compared as tables with the changed cells marked. Images are shown side by side with zoom and pan kept in sync, Fit and 100%, and Blink to flip between the two in place. Files that differ only in line endings, binary files and very large files each get a plain notice instead of a wall of noise.

Compare two folders on your own machine and both sides become one tree that marks what was added, removed, changed or renamed. Files your .gitignore excludes stay hidden until you show them. Mark files as reviewed and press n for the next unreviewed one.

USE IT AS YOUR GIT DIFFTOOL

Git is not needed to compare files or folders. If you have Git installed, Settings > Git difftool gives you three git config lines with the path already filled in. Each changed file then opens in its own window under its real name, with its place in the set — File 2 of 7.

FREE AND PRO

RepoFlock Diff is free for personal and commercial use. The free tier has no trial period and no time limit: text, image, CSV and folder compare, and git difftool, all stay free.

A paid Pro licence adds image review modes — swipe, onion skin, and a difference view with adjustable tolerance — and Markdown that reads like prose, with word marks that follow paragraphs even when lines were re-wrapped and changed cells marked in Markdown tables. Features marked PRO in the app need a Pro licence.

Pro licence keys are a one-time purchase at repoflock.com. They are not sold through the Microsoft Store and this app contains no in-app purchases: the "Get RepoFlock Diff Pro" button in Settings opens the pricing page on repoflock.com in your web browser, and payment happens there. A key is pasted once into Settings > License and verified offline. A combined RepoFlock Pro + Diff Pro key also unlocks the RepoFlock app.

PRIVACY AND UPDATES

Your files are read on your machine and never uploaded. This version makes no network requests of its own: licence keys are verified offline, and updates are installed by the Microsoft Store.
