**To use the Microsoft Data Gathering app, you must first setup an account at www.microsoftdatagathering.net. This is a companion app to support the free survey service. Visit the website for more information.
With this easy-to-use companion app, the Microsoft Data Gathering service allows you to respond to custom surveys, polls and questionnaires from a mobile device in even the most remote locations--with or without a consistent Internet connection.
How it works:
• First, create your surveys, polls and questionnaires online at www.microsoftdatagathering.net
• Send your survey link to responders via email, text or social networks
• For mobile users, download this companion app to respond to surveys--online or offline
• Store data securely and view it right from any modern browser
• Analyze your data in real time using a variety of charts, tables and graphs

Supported by rich analytics and powerful reporting features, the Microsoft Data Gathering service dramatically improves the speed and accuracy of collecting data from even the most remote locations. Real-time access means users can quickly respond to trends and insights, or scale best practices rapidly. Even when Internet connectivity is sparse, the Microsoft Data Gathering companion app allows mobile users to collect vital information using their mobile devices and send it immediately or sync it later.
Robust Web Service
The Microsoft Data Gathering online survey builder is used to create and publish your surveys, and manage users, devices, questionnaires and responses. Authors assign groups and permission levels, notify users that surveys are available, and review data as it comes in. The service accesses advanced tools and features to publish surveys, map data and export results.
Fast & Accurate Data
Surveys can be published to mobile devices using the app or to the web, accessed from any modern browser (Edge, Internet Explorer and above, Chrome, Firefox and Safari). From a mobile device, users complete the survey and submit results immediately or save the results to their device and submit later.
