App supports flight planning, tracking, direct-to mode and can show METARs and TAFs for the airports.
App can run on the desktop, tablet or the phone (RiP).
One sectional chart is available for free after installation. In-app data subscription purchase is required to download more sectional VFR charts and terminal procedure publications (TPP) of the lower 48 states.
Charts for Alaska, Hawaii, and territories are not available.
For flight tracking, the app can use either GPS of the device or an X-plane flight simulator running on a separate computer on the same network.
