A Game Playing Companion, Commentator and Coach built with feedback from the global Magic community. Beautifully displays and records game state integrated into full bleed Magic art; including life counting, poison counting, energy counting, timer, life change history, game wins per match, player names and even "time-on-the-round" extra turns. A built in "Magic Judge" verbally commentates on game state including timer announcements and will also warn on battery life. Optionally record your game to allow coaching analysis on overall win rate, most feared opponent etc. and for fun comparison with your friends! Professionally designed with a video game aesthetic including dozens of 2D/3D animations, screen transitions, imaging technology and attention to fit and finish.
Didn’t use app life counters before because of battery life worries? This is no longer an issue, this new Windows 10 Universal version has been reengineered to give FIVE TIMES the battery life over previous Silverlight version. Experiments with Lumia 950XL phone show an average 5% an hour or around 20 hours use.

Use customisation features and built-in graphics design techniques to integrate the scoreboard into your full bleed wallpaper. These include reskinning all the apps controls and scores to any magic colour, adding drop shadows to scores, image processing to darken the wallpaper to increase contrast and most unique of all - new resizable glass overlays for controls and scores with customisable blur ( based on DirectX gaming technology).
For timed matches use a highly accurate timer with verbal timer announcements/warnings plus Time on the Round "Gong" alarm. Fully settable, continues working when receiving phone calls, lockscreening or switching between apps.
Timed matches can also use the "Go To Turns" Timeout Management, triggered when timer runs out or available directly at any time. No need to remember which extra turn we are on, how many are left overall or how many turns you have to try and win. An animated and verbal feature walks you through it all.
New "Recorded Games Stats" feature optionally records all game wins. Shows current win rate and opponent highlights eg "Most feared opponent", "Most popular opponents" etc. A Personal League Table is kept for all opponents showing your complete game record history for all games ever played against them with various filters. See your Win Rate go up as you improve!
From the original Windows Phone version , the optional "SmartScore" feature watches you tap inputs and gives animated feedback of total life change before recording it in the score history. Just tap large buttons the same number of times as points of damage, the app does the rest, mental arithmetic not required! Optional +5/-5 buttons now also included.
Includes current game score history with a dedicated display that flips into view in 3D showing timings and score differences.
To show how much we take battery life seriously we now include our own battery app within the app itself. It displays and monitors current battery life with verbal warnings at 50%,25% and 10% battery remaining, together with several battery saving options to increase battery life if required.
If you prefer your device in desktop rather than tablet mode, we full support Windowed mode for use on desktop with dynamic scaling to any size and customised magic colour window titles.
MTG4Life scoreboard is ergonomically designed to be placed beside the battlefield between you and opponent, side-on like a "tennis" scoreboard in Magic Tournament Feature Matches (see included example images of app in use). Allowing you to share an agreed game state with your opponent and both to update it if you wish.
Runs on all windows 10 devices. Universal in app upgrade purchase unlocks the upgrade on all devices - mobile, tablet, laptop, desktop and xbox. Buy once and use everywhere, forever.
