The proposed calculator will make it easy to provide different calculations between different indicators, considering the fact that one hour has 60 minutes.
There is no surprise today in addition and subtraction of hours and minutes.
Unlike other similar calculators, the user can choose the kind of numbers that will be used for calculations (number, time, speed, distance, cost, fuel, consumption, rate). The information of measures will show up on displays for convenience (consumption in liters/hour, speed in km/h etc.).
It is possible to calculate quickly the work time for the day. For example, work started at 7:25pm and finished 3:40am (7:25pm~3:40am=8:15).
It is possible immediately multiply the result by the rate per hour (assume $750), we obtain the sum $6187.50 (8:15 * $750 =$6187.15).
It should also be noted that there are two main approaches for approximation the result, calculating the cost of services based on rate of hour.
In the "accounting approximation" [Acc.] the time value is approximating immediately after conversion from the format "hours and minutes" to format "hours and hundredths of hours".
Example: 3:05 (3 hours 5 minutes) * $1000 = $3080 (first 5/60=0,0833333, the value is approximating to 0.08, then the time in hundredths of hours (3.08) multiplied by $1000 = $3080).
In the "mathematical approximation" [Mat.] it is done after calculations.
Example: 3:05 (3 hours 5 minutes) * $1000 = $3083.33 (first 5/60=0,0833333 that time in fractional hours 3.0833333 multiplied by $1000 = $3083.33).
Calculator can help here as well. It is possible to change the approximation mode with the simple press of a button.
Another example. Estimated time of operation is 35 hours and 20 minutes. Given the estimated savings of 5% will receive 33 hours 34 min (35:20 5%=33:34).
