● Let's start with the Basics, Photosets competes with Apple's native Burst mode feature.
● It uses a different Apple Camera Framework, the High-Speed one.
● And it doesn't use it "as is".
● Photosets has lots of custom low-level code, that's needed to achieve Highest Capture Performance & to support its Unique & Innovative Feature Set.
● At its core, is a High-Speed, "High-Precision Timing" Burst Photo Capture Engine paired-with a fully custom Filesystem, an Editor, and two Video Makers.
● Photos are captured as Sets.
● The User doesn't need to do anything "to organize" the Photos into Sets.
● And importantly, Photosets has a Photo Set-based Filesystem, & may be the ONLY Camera App on the planet to do so.

● At this point, we'd like to point-out that if you're capturing 8-bit photos, you'll end up with JPEG or HEIC photo sets, & if you're capturing (Lossless) 10-bit 422 photos, you'll end up with .rgb3x file (which are the inputs to the 10-bit Video Maker).

● If the app's (integrated) 8-bit Video Maker is your main focus, you can think of Photosets an app for capturing (sets of) burst photos and organizing them into Short Form, Multi-Scene Videos, with up-to 60 video scenes.
● And that includes with (optional) concurrently captured Audio Data.

Among other things, the app's 10-bit Burst Photo Capture support "reverts-back" to how it worked in v25.405.
i.e., separate Photo Capture & (optional) Video Maker steps.
In other words, NO "auto-crafting" of Video Scenes.
We recently concluded that auto-crafting 10-bit ProRes 422 HQ Video Scenes was simply too limiting to too many of Photosets' End Users.
And, importantly, didn't allow for crafting multi-scene Videos.

To most, the BIG change with this update will be the ability to craft "multi-scene" 10-bit ProRes 422 HQ video !
Note that the app's 10-bit Video Maker does NOT currently include the same Filters as the app's 8-bit Video Maker.
As such, when deciding to craft multi-scene 10-bit Videos, please don't mix color spaces, transfer functions, matrices.
