Developed by Stanford engineers, with the support of the National Science Foundation, Elloveo breaks down complex concepts through interactive simulations in a puzzle-based game. Electrons are too small to see and electric/magnetic fields propagate at the speed of light, making this subject difficult to visualize. Elloveo adjusts the scale and speed of the simulation to those that a human can see and comprehend.
The game guides players from the fundamentals of electric charges and simple circuits to exploring the intricacies of electric cars and power generation. Players can "see" the otherwise invisible currents and charges, making the learning experience intuitive and interactive. Through hands-on manipulation, players unlock the next level while acquiring a deeper understanding of physics.
