Web AU brings a real web browser into your DAW workflow, keeping reference material, tutorials, documentation, support pages, videos, and downloads close to the tools you are already using, with powerful new preset snapshots for saving and reopening complete browser setups.

Built for musicians, producers, and power users working in compatible AUv3 hosts, Web AU delivers a focused browsing experience with modern essentials:

Web AU is designed to keep the web available without pulling you out of your creative environment. Open multiple pages, move quickly between tabs, save the sites you actually use, and save full browser setups as presets so you can return to the same working context later without rebuilding it tab by tab.

Preset snapshots give Web AU a stronger workflow advantage inside music production sessions. Use them to capture a group of pages, references, and browsing state for a specific task, then reopen that setup later from Preset Browser. This makes it easier to keep recurring research, manuals, tutorials, support pages, and work-specific browsing layouts ready when you need them.

Privacy and control are built in. You can enable ad blocking, manage Safe Browsing warnings, switch between mobile and desktop user agents, view and clear saved website data to manage storage use, review device-permission status from inside the app’s settings experience, and back up or restore bookmarks when needed.

Presets, bookmarks, and browsing history can stay in step across your devices through iCloud. Web AU also includes sync status details in Settings, along with manual sync controls when you want to check or refresh sync while the browser is open.

Web AU is built for compatible AUv3 host workflows, including setups running on Apple silicon Macs.

Whether you need synth manuals, plug-in documentation, patch notes, support articles, YouTube tutorials, download pages, or quick searches while you work, Web AU keeps that material close without turning your session into window-management overload, and presets make it much faster to return to the exact kind of browser setup you use most.
