wear.am.i: Wear what3words™
[Note: This is an early pre-release version. There will be bugs and crashes, but we invite you to try the app and let us know of any problems so that we can improve the app before the full release.]

wear.am.i allows you to find your what3words™ three word address on your Wear OS device.

what3words™ have divided the whole of the Earth into 3m x 3m squares and assigned a simple three word address to each square. You can use this to share your precise location to meet friends, receive deliveries, get help and much much more. It's far simpler than sharing your GPS coordinates, but just as accurate.

wear.am.i uses the official what3words™ API to retrieve your three word address.

Three word addresses are available in almost 30 languages, and wear.am.i will automatically grab your address is the language of your device if it's supported (even if the app does not support your language yet!).

wear.am.i requires a working network connection / data plan to retrieve your three word address. It also requires permission to access your location - which may seem obvious as it's an app for finding the three word address of your location - but when first run you will need to grant this permission specifically. (This is part of Android/Wear OS's privacy and security protocols.)

Note that wear.am.i is developed independently by No Original Thought. The app was previously known as "what3words for Wear".

    v0.1.4 has a name change (from what3words for Wear to wear.am.i) and some bug/crash fixes.

    Known Issues: Long 3 word addresses on map screen truncated.
