TallyCoin is the perfect app for tracking chores, jobs, and earnings, designed with families in mind.

HOW TALLYCOIN WORKS

We’ve made it simple for kids to track their chores and earnings:

- One tap to add coins for a completed chore
- Easily create, edit, or delete helpers and chores
- Track past history, stats, and earnings at a glance
- Effortlessly deduct coins when your little ones "spend" them
- Add a widget to your home screen for quick access to chores and earnings

This app is a labor of love created by a mother and her two kids. I handle the programming, while my kids provide invaluable user feedback. We’re always improving the app and welcome your suggestions!

WHY WE CREATED TALLYCOIN

As a parent, I wanted to teach my two kids about work ethics and personal finance from an early age. When they were just 3 years old, I started giving them opportunities to earn "coins" by doing chores around the house. In our home, setting the table earned 1 coin, and loading the washing machine was worth 2 coins. My kids would then spend their earned coins on things they wanted (except candy!). This system helped them learn important lessons about income, expenses, savings, and the value of hard work.

To manage chores and rewards, we initially used pen and paper, whiteboards, and various tally apps. While these options worked to some extent, they often lacked the ease and flexibility we needed. That’s why we created TallyCoin.

To keep TallyCoin free, we display occasional ads designed to be as non-intrusive as possible. If you'd prefer an ad-free experience, you can opt for our in-app purchase. Thank you for your support!
