MEMENTO Ajaccio transforms your smartphone into a true gateway to the past. Through an immersive experience blending heritage, interactive storytelling, and new technologies, discover Ajaccio in a new light through its monuments, iconic figures, and forgotten memories.

The app offers three ways to explore the city:

• Immersive Experience: A scripted adventure where you explore Ajaccio through an investigation combining history, mini-games, interactions, and mysterious phenomena.

• Guided Tour: A route enriched with audio and video content and educational insights to discover the city's must-see sites.

• Self-Guided Tour: Explore Ajaccio at your own pace with an interactive map and geolocated content.

MEMENTO Ajaccio incorporates numerous immersive and technological features:

• Interactive discussions with historical figures using AI
• Augmented reality and overlaying the past onto the present
• Historical mini-games and interactive puzzles
• Immersive videos and recreated scenes
• Geolocation-based exploration of the city
• Memory progression and synchronization system
• Spatialized audio experiences and historical voices
• Interactive interfaces inspired by video games and escape rooms

From the citadel to the Maison Bonaparte, from the cathedral to Rue Fesch, each location becomes a living space where history, emotion, and exploration converge.

The historical content and educational materials were designed with the help of historians, heritage specialists, museum curators and local cultural stakeholders in order to offer an immersive, accessible and rigorously documented experience.
