Choose a genre, mood, key, scale, tempo, bar count, complexity, humanize, and swing. MotifPilot builds a four-track MIDI starter with chords, bass, arp, and melody so you can preview the idea, shape the arrangement, and export usable MIDI into your production workflow.

Built for beatmakers, bedroom producers, songwriter-producers, and iPad music makers:

- Generate 4, 8, or 16 bar MIDI starters from clear musical controls.
- Enter your own chord progression or cycle and edit selected chords.
- Preview the result with built-in playback.
- Focus tracks with mute and solo controls.
- Push variations such as simpler, darker, jazzier, more emotional, more sparse, more rhythmic, tension, and resolve.
- Adjust octave, velocity, and note length on the focused track.
- Undo and redo edits while exploring.
- Export a full starter and separate active-track MIDI files through the iOS share sheet.
- Keep recent projects and export records saved on this device.

MotifPilot is not a full DAW, audio generator, or one-click song maker. It is a local-first MIDI drafting tool for getting reliable musical starting points into your DAW.
