NEW: ROUND TIMER (ANDROID APP ONLY)
Set the round length (30 seconds to an hour) under the Mix buttons and start it with each Mix, or by hand. Then put the phone in your pocket.
• A countdown on your lock screen, with the time it rings
• At zero it rings like an alarm: at alarm volume, even in silent mode, for up to a minute or until you silence it from the notification, the app, a paired watch, or by tapping Mix for the next round
• Ring with the Horn, eight other tones, or your phone's own alarm sound
The timer needs the "Alarms & reminders" permission to ring on time; the app asks for it.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
Most "mixers" and round robin generators shuffle names and hope for the best. PickleMixer remembers every game in the session and searches directly for a round where nobody repeats a partner or an opponent; when no such round exists, a genetic algorithm evolves thousands of candidate rounds and picks the best. Partner history, sit-out time, and ratings all count, every round. Not just random: optimized.
