Unipal-ユニパル
Unipal is a location-based social application designed for university students. It visualizes the ever-changing information on and off campus, providing users with an intuitive understanding of what's happening around them. It aims to unify diverse information such as events, clubs, shops, and surveys, allowing users to complete everything from information discovery and participation to communication on a single platform.

At the heart of this app is its map-based information display function. When a user opens the app, various posts are displayed on a map centered on their current location, allowing them to check nearby events, activities, and open shops in real time. Posts are organized by category, making it easy to find information relevant to their needs, such as events, clubs & circles, shops, and surveys. Each post includes detailed information such as title, description, image, time, and location, allowing users to grasp the necessary information at a glance.

The posting function allows users to become information providers themselves and freely create content. It's designed to easily post all kinds of information related to university life, such as event announcements, club recruitment information, shop guides, and survey requests. Posts can include attached images and detailed descriptions, and other users can react to and comment on them. Posts can also be saved and shared, allowing users to revisit interesting information later or share it with friends.

One of Unipal's distinctive features is "Bubble." Bubble is a lightweight posting function for quickly sharing users' activities, thoughts, and insights, allowing for easy sharing of text, images, and links. These Bubbles are displayed at the top of the map screen, allowing users to intuitively see what activities nearby users are doing and what information they are interested in. Bubbles automatically disappear after a certain period, promoting real-time information sharing and creating an environment where users can easily share information. Past Bubbles can also be viewed in a list on the profile page.

Furthermore, a chat function is included to support communication between users. It supports both one-on-one messages and group chats, facilitating smooth communication and information sharing among event participants and club members. The app's design also features a pathway that allows posted information to directly lead to further communication, which is another key characteristic.

The search function allows users to narrow down information based on post categories and criteria, enabling them to efficiently find information that matches their interests and purposes. For example, users can quickly access necessary information by displaying only posts from specific categories or sorting based on specific criteria. The history function allows users to view a list of previously viewed, saved, and reacted-to posts, making it easy to revisit information that caught their attention later.

The profile function allows users to manage and view their own information and activity history. Users can set a profile picture and basic information, and view their own posts and Bubble history. It also allows users to search for and connect with other users, and includes a simple friend-adding function using QR codes.

Unipal aims to consolidate information, which tends to be scattered in university life, into one place, creating more efficient and serendipitous encounters and experiences. By visualizing "what's happening right now, in this place," which is difficult to obtain on traditional social media, it broadens the range of user actions and choices. It functions as a platform to maximize the possibilities in everyday life, such as participating in new events, meeting unknown communities, and discovering opportunities close at hand.

This app was developed with the aim of deepening connections among university students and supporting a richer student life. By seamlessly connecting information discovery, sharing, and communication, it provides a new and unprecedented campus experience.
