Ceviz Biotech
Ceviz is a B2B healthcare platform where doctors can request custom 3D implant and prosthesis designs for their patients. The process, from DICOM images to patient-specific 3D models, is conducted digitally between the doctor and the Ceviz engineering team.

HOW IT WORKS?

Doctors securely upload their patients' DICOM images to Ceviz. The Ceviz engineering team reviews these images and prepares a patient-specific 3D model design. The completed models are shared directly with the doctor via the platform.

DATA SECURITY AND PATIENT PRIVACY

Ceviz is designed to protect patient privacy at a technical level:

- DICOM anonymization: Uploaded DICOM files are automatically anonymized on the application side before being transferred to the platform. Personally identifiable fields such as patient name, ID number, and date of birth are removed from the files.

- Case identity confidentiality: Each case is represented by a randomly generated UUID in the system. Patient identification information is not stored in case records.

- Mandatory patient consent: Doctors declare on the platform that they have obtained informed consent from their patients when creating cases. The case process cannot be initiated without a declaration of consent.

- Data center location: All data is stored in European data centers (Frankfurt).

- Encryption: End-to-end encryption is applied to data transfers.

- User control: Users have full control over their data; account deletion requests can be submitted from within the application.

USAGE

Ceviz is a B2B application for professional use. Institution-specific account approval is required for access. Newly registered doctors are automatically assigned a sample case demonstrating how the platform works.
