Letture
Reads is Vignoli srl's application for collecting data via barcodes on industrial Android terminals, specifically Honeywell or other devices from the EDA or CK6x family.

The app is designed for internal company use: warehouse inventories, order picking, production tracking, and any workflow requiring rapid barcode acquisition with the ability to associate additional information (location, lot, description, etc.) with each scan.

MAIN FEATURES
• Barcode reading via integrated Honeywell laser scanner (DataCollection SDK)
• Manual entry as a fallback (configurable numeric or alphanumeric keypad)
• Up to 5 customizable fields for each scan, each with a description, type (numeric/alphanumeric), minimum/maximum length, mandatory entry, and retention of the last entered value.
• Separately configurable quantity field, with rules for length, negative values, and zero values.
• Item master data with barcode verification: scanning a code not present in the table can be rejected.
• Operator master data with code and description. Select the current operator before data collection
• Quick search of saved readings by barcode or any field

SENDING AND SYNCHRONIZATION

• Send readings to the company FTP server in CSV format
• Complete FTP configuration (host, port, credentials, path)
• Fixed file name or with automatic timestamp (YYMMDD_HHMMSS.csv)
• Pre-check for the existence of the remote file with overwrite confirmation
• Granular selection of columns to include in the CSV: only the fields active in the form and selected in configuration are exported
• Optional CSV header
• Automatic import of item and operator data from the FTP server after each successful sending
• Local database backup to FTP, upon request

INTERFACE OPTIMIZED FOR INDUSTRIAL USE

• Layout designed for terminals with small screens
• Portrait orientation only
• Easier reading of the list thanks to alternating lines
• Quick confirmation with a virtual keyboard that automatically opens on the first field
• Guided sequence Fields: the forward key on the keyboard moves to the next field.
• Re-reading an existing barcode: the form is pre-populated with the values ​​from the last scan, for quick changes.
