PCap Mobile: Packet Capture
PCap Mobile is an on-device network packet capture and PCAP analysis tool for Android. Capture device traffic through Android’s VPN service without root access, then inspect, filter, share, and export the resulting PCAP files.
Use the live capture dashboard to monitor packet count, captured data, duration, download speed, and upload speed. Pause or resume a capture without interrupting network connectivity, then save the completed session automatically to your library.
Open saved captures in the built-in packet viewer to explore:
• IPv4, TCP, UDP, ICMP, DNS, TLS SNI, and HTTP metadata
• Source and destination IP addresses, ports, protocols, and hosts
• Packet size, timing, and detailed protocol fields
• Raw packet data with a hexadecimal viewer
• Capture summaries including packet count, total bytes, average size, and duration
Powerful filtering tools help you search packets by IP address, port, hostname, protocol, or other packet information. Filtered packets can be saved as a separate PCAP file.

Important notes:
• PCap Mobile uses Android’s VPN service to capture network traffic. VPN permission is required for packet capture.
• Packet processing and saved captures remain on your device unless you explicitly share or export them.
• Encrypted HTTPS payloads cannot be decrypted. Available metadata may include IP addresses, packet sizes, ports, and TLS server names.
• PCap Mobile is an independent network analysis utility and is not affiliated with Wireshark.
