Beskrivelse
RemEx has two parts: this app, and the free RemEx app for your PC (Windows or Linux). Get the PC app from github.com/clindsay94/RemEx/releases, then pair your phone with a QR code or a 6-digit PIN.
HOME
• Your PC at a glance: online status, uptime and the sensors you pin
• Wake your PC from your phone with Wake-on-LAN
• Shortcuts to the screens you use most
SENSORS
• Live readings from your PC: CPU and GPU load, temperatures, clocks, memory, fans, network and more
• Arrange the grid your way, 2 to 4 columns wide, with cards in three sizes
• Pin your favourites to Home
ALERTS
• Get a notification when a sensor passes a limit, like a GPU running hot
• Alerts follow the rules you set on the PC, and you can add or change them from your phone
REMOTE DESKTOP
• Stream your PC's screen to your phone or tablet
• Use it as a touchpad or tap straight on the screen
• Pinch to zoom, drag to pan, two fingers to scroll
CONTROL
• Lock, sign out, restart or shut down your PC
• Start apps and games from a grid of your PC's programs
• See running processes and end the ones you don't want
• Media controls and a remote mouse
FILES
• Browse your PC's shared folders, download files and whole folders, and upload from your phone
• Your PC can browse the folders you share from your phone and, if you allow it, organise them too
• Transfers keep going in the background, with progress in your notifications
ROUTINES
• Let your phone act on its own: when you get home, when you tap an NFC tag, or when a PC sensor passes a limit
• Actions can run on your phone or on the PC, with a countdown before any shutdown or restart
PC LOGS AND DIAGNOSTICS
• See what your PC has logged and how its health checks look, right from your phone
MAKE IT YOURS
• Material You colours, or pick your own seed colour
• Light and dark themes, contrast and colour style options
• Backgrounds: subtle textures or slow animated ones
• Card shapes, fonts including popular Nerd Fonts, and four splash screens
• Home screen widgets
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account and no cloud service. Your phone talks straight to your PC
• Pairing uses a QR code or PIN, and every connection is encrypted and pinned to your PC
• Your PC decides what each phone can see and do, and you can remove a phone at any time
• Crash reports and basic app usage stats go to Google Firebase so I can find and fix bugs
Available in English, Español, Français, हिन्दी, Bahasa Indonesia, Polski, Português (Brasil), Türkçe and Українська.
RemEx is open source and a one-person project. If something doesn't work the way you expect, open an issue on GitHub and I'll take a look.
Requires Android 14 or newer. The PC app runs on Windows and Linux.
