Around the board sits a ring of colored pieces — the layers the picture is made of. Press one, drag through the others in a single motion, and they paint the board in the order you chose. The sky before the hills. The bowl before the fruit. The wall before the window. Let go, and hundreds of little cubes flip over at once to show you what you made.
Get the order right and the picture snaps into place. Get it wrong and the board shows you exactly where it went astray, so the next try is a better one.
HOW TO PLAY
- Look at the picture you are restoring.
- Press a piece on the ring and drag through the rest — bottom layer first.
- Changed your mind? Drag backwards to take a pick off. Nothing is committed until you let go.
- Release, and watch the layers land.
That is the whole game. One finger, no timing, no dexterity, no menus to learn.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
You do not solve these puzzles by trial and error. You solve them with things you already know. Dough goes down before the filling, and the glaze goes on last. A chimney sits on a roof, not under it. The order is not something to work out from scratch — it is something to remember. That is why the puzzles feel fair, and why the click of getting one right feels earned.
