คำอธิบาย
Enter a host and Certgaze connects and shows:
• a large "expires in N days" counter with colour coding;
• the full chain of trust: leaf, intermediates, root — who issued each and until when;
• the TLS version and cipher of the connection;
• the names the certificate covers (SAN) and whether they match your host;
• warnings: expired or expiring soon, weak signature algorithm, small key, outdated TLS version.
An expired certificate is an outage you can see coming a month away. Certgaze helps you catch it early.
COMPARE FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY (uses VPN)
Certgaze can check the same host through a server in another country and compare the certificate seen here and there: SHA-256 fingerprint and issuer. A mismatch reveals certificate substitution on your network or a different CDN per region.
This feature uses Android VpnService. You add your own server key (vless://) or a subscription link from your provider — Certgaze has no servers of its own. While the tunnel is on, all of the phone's traffic goes encrypted to that server. The tunnel is off by default, turned on only by you after a disclosure screen, and can be turned off in the app or in Android settings.
The sites you check and your keys stay on your device. The app sends anonymous usage and crash statistics (Google Firebase) and install attribution (AppsFlyer).
