Get the latest global earthquake data from multiple sources and receive push notification alerts. No ads.
Main features:
• Rich push notifications as soon as the data becomes available from official sources (you can configure up to four alerts based on location and/or magnitude threshold), or opt-in for preliminary notifications based on user reports (faster)
• Multiple sources, including U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), Geoscience Australia, GNS Science (GeoNet), Instituto Geográfico Nacional, Servicio Sismológico Nacional, British Geological Survey, GFZ GEOFON, Natural Resources Canada, NOAA
• Map with different-sized, color-coded circles to represent event magnitude and age
• Filter events by region (country, continent) or magnitude
• Earthquake catalog covering all regions worldwide, dating back to 1970: search by date, region/country, city or reporting agency
• Report felt earthquakes to help the community confirm seismic events in your area
• The app analyses user reports to calculate an estimated earthquake location once the event has occurred, pending official confirmation
• Timeline view (today, yesterday, previous days)
• Detail view for each event, accessible from the map and timeline
• Tsunami bulletins powered by NOAA data
• Map layers: tectonic plate boundaries, orogens, volcanoes, nuclear power plants, population density
• Widgets for your Home Screen and Lock Screen, so the latest seismic data is always at your fingertips
