### 🧩 How to Play
Each clue tells you two things:
* **Number** — the exact number of cells the patch must cover.
* **Shape** — whether the patch must be **Square, Wide, Tall, or Any**.
Drag from a clue cell to create your patch. The game provides real-time feedback to help you identify valid and invalid placements.
### 🧠 Solve Using Logic
Start with clues that have the fewest possible placements.
For example:
* **Square 4** → must be a 2×2 square.
* **Tall 3** → must be a 1×3 vertical rectangle.
* **Wide 2** → must be a 2×1 horizontal rectangle.
* **Any 4** → can use any rectangular shape covering exactly 4 cells.
Look at the grid edges, corners, and remaining empty spaces to discover **forced moves**.
### 🎯 No Guessing Required
PatchWork is designed around logical deduction.
As you place patches, the available space becomes smaller. Use **process of elimination** to determine which clue can cover each remaining area.
If you make a mistake, simply remove a placed patch and try another logical possibility.
### 🎨 Four Shape Types
**Square**
Width and height must be equal.
**Wide**
Width must be greater than height.
**Tall**
Height must be greater than width.
**Any**
Any rectangular shape that matches the required cell count.
