The app features four board sizes: 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5. You can play against the device or challenge a friend. The device offers a tough challenge, pushing players to improve their strategy. Players can choose from a variety of colors for their moves and the boxes they claim, adding a fun visual element to the game. Additionally, the app includes calming background music, which can easily be turned off if you prefer silence.
The app is thoughtfully crafted to enhance your experience and help you uncover strategic moves in Dots and Boxes. It includes Callouts that highlight key game patterns—like Long Chains, Loops, Double Crosses, and more — drawing attention to important moments as the game unfolds. The app also features several tools designed to give players valuable insights. One of these is the Win Predictor, which shows the current balance of the game on a scale from 0 to 100, offering a clear picture of who’s in the lead. This is especially useful when a single move shifts the momentum dramatically. For players looking to improve their strategy, there’s a Best Move button to suggest optimal moves, as well as an Undo button, letting players retrace their steps and experiment with different strategies.
The app is funded through in-app advertising. To display age-appropriate ads, we conduct an age verification check. We also collect usage data to enhance the gaming experience, but we do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII).
