♖♗ This android app was carefully designed to teach kids from the beginner level.
All levels in the game are organized from basic to advanced, with detailed animated explanations of core chess concepts, followed by carefully chosen puzzles to make the theme sink in. ♘♙
Chessmatemon allows kids to study chess in an independent way, learning the following important concepts: setting up the chess board, how chess pieces move, the value of each piece, captures, basic and advanced tactics, checks and mates, various tactical and strategic concepts such as: pin, fork, piece overloading, distraction, zugzwang, domination, discovered check and many more.
♕♖ The app also has a “play against a computer” module - so children can test their progress. The computer’s level of play is weak enough so that the child can start beating the computer very soon, receiving positive feedback.
