1️⃣ Game Description

In SimShock, you become an emergency physician facing critical situations where every second counts.
Test your ability to diagnose, decide, and act under pressure in a realistic and dynamic simulation environment.

Your goal is to keep your patient alive by applying the right treatments to stabilize their hemodynamic parameters. Every decision has immediate physiological consequences.
• Dynamic pathologies: heart failure, hemorrhage, shock, and more.
• Interactive treatments: administer drugs, fluids, and use the defibrillator.
• Live monitor: track ECG, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and urine output.
• Decision-making: every action directly affects the patient’s evolution.
• Motivational gameplay: experience the tension and excitement of a real emergency room.

2️⃣ Game Mode and Mechanics

🖥️ Screen Overview

The main screen reproduces a real medical monitor.
At the top, you’ll see the ECG in real time, mean arterial pressure (MAP), heart rate, central venous pressure (CVP), and urine output.
On the left side, vertical bars represent physiological variables that change according to the patient’s condition.

🎮 Interaction and Controls

The control panel at the bottom lets you activate pathologies or apply treatments:
• Heart Failure: congestion, increased CVP, and reduced cardiac output.
• Hemorrhage: hypotension, tachycardia, and reduced urine output.
• Septic Shock: vasodilation and progressive circulatory collapse.

Treatments available:
• Dopamine: increases heart rate and perfusion in shock or hemorrhage.
• Dobutamine: improves cardiac contractility in heart failure.
• Nitroglycerin (Solinitrine): vasodilator that lowers blood pressure and CVP.
• Furosemide (Seguril): promotes diuresis and relieves pulmonary congestion.
• Saline infusion: increases blood volume and stabilizes pressure.
• Blood transfusion: restores volume after major bleeding.
• Defibrillator: reverses arrhythmias or cardiac arrest.

All effects are shown in real time, with continuous physiological adjustments processed by the simulation engine.

3️⃣ End of the Game

The simulation begins with a stable patient. You can trigger a pathology from the control panel.
Your mission is to stabilize and cure the patient before their condition deteriorates.
• The patient recovers if vital signs remain stable for a sustained period.
• The patient worsens if treatments are inadequate.
• The patient dies (cardiac arrest) if values reach critical limits.

A “Cured” screen celebrates your success with a motivational message.
A “Cardiac Arrest” screen appears if the patient dies, allowing you to restart and try again.

Your final score depends on the accuracy and speed of your decisions.
