Make sure you allow OnMyWay to run in the background, or else SMS messages may not send (this setting differs per Android Phone; ignoring battery optimization may not be enough to allow it to run in the background, so make sure you do your research).
And don't worry about battery life, OnMyWay will always kill its background service after 2 minutes of non-use.
OnMyWay needs the necessary permissions to be able to function properly: access to SMS to send messages, access to Contacts and access to read Google Maps Notifications.
