Rejoice! There is now a the Psalms and Proverbs from the Bible in the Lakiung dialect of the Makasar language.
Psalms and Proverbs in the Makasar language. Translated by various Makasar speakers from Indonesian and also carefully checked with the assistance of translation and language consultants so that all meaning of the verses is exactly the same as the original Hebrew language.
If there remains a little Makasar that still resembles Indonesian or Hebrew, that is because many spiritual concepts are seldom used in everyday local languages and have to be translated as well as possible so that the original meaning is not changed.
If there is some word or phrase that is not understood or a bit stiff or unnatural, please send in your comments. Comments, corrections or additions can be sent to (kitabsucinusantara@gmail.com).
This is meant to enable this Holy Book to be improved ongoingly so that the final result will be more and mor perfect so that it can be updated on the internet.
May each person who reads this Holy Book be blessed by Allah who is Almighty and also All Loving.
