Description
The New Testament is the new and definitive covenant that God made with men through his son, Jesus Christ. It is the collection of books that make up the second part of the Holy Bible. Since the first century, Christian writings used the names of Old and New Testament, that is, old and new alliance. The New Testament is the collection of books inspired by the Holy Spirit that bear witness to the coming of Christ and his work.
It is explicitly addressed to Christians and was written after the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ.

The books that make up the New Testament are classified into:
-Narrative or historical books (4 Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles)
-Epistolary books: (Letters of Paul, the Letter to the Hebrews and the seven Catholic letters)
-Prophetic Books: The Apocalypse
