Profissionalismo, comprometimento, criatividade e diversidade fazem a TV Câmara JP funcionar como um elo entre a população e o Poder Legislativo Municipal. Sua missão é transmitir com transparência e seriedade tudo o que for produzido pelos vereadores da Capital paraibana.
Uma das contribuições está na conscientização da sociedade de que a Câmara é aberta ao público. As atividades da comunicação contribuem nesse processo, seja possibilitando o acompanhamento das ações da Casa Legislativa pela TV, seja conscientizando as pessoas a comparecerem à Câmara e participarem ativamente das questões da cidade junto aos parlamentares.
Rádio Câmara
A Rádio Câmara FM (88,7 Mhz) entrou no ar em caráter experimental no dia 1º de janeiro de 2017. À época, passou a contar com uma programação musical que prioriza a música popular brasileira, além de incluir hits imortais da música pop mundial. No dia 11 de fevereiro de 2019, a emissora estreou sua programação jornalística com o Jornal da Câmara, que vai ao ar das 12h30 às 13h30. O programa resume as atividades do plenário no dia e apresenta entrevistas com os vereadores, bem como debate temas de interesse da comunidade e de utilidade pública.
Nos intervalos, o ouvinte pode acompanhar programetes como o "Fique por Dentro", que explica, em linguagem acessível, cada termo utilizado nas sessões legislativas, bem como o rito de funcionamento da Casa Napoleão Laureano, sede do Legislativo Municipal de João Pessoa. Há, ainda, flashes ao vivo com a cobertura dos momentos mais importantes dos eventos que acontecem no plenário.
Com uma parceria com a Rádio Câmara Federal, a Rádio Câmara FM de João Pessoa leva ao ar diariamente o Câmara É Notícia, das 9h às 9h30 e das 13h30 às 14h, além de divulgar as sessões plenárias da Câmara Federal.
