El Tribunal Constitucional de la República Dominicana fue creado por la Constitución de fecha 26 de enero de 2010. Su misión es garantizar la supremacía de la Constitución, la defensa del orden constitucional, y la protección de los derechos fundamentales. El Tribunal Constitucional fue concebido por la Constitución como el órgano supremo de interpretación y control de la constitucionalidad.
Para poder dar cumplimiento a las atribuciones conferidas expresamente por la Constitución y la Ley Orgánica del Tribunal Constitucional y los Procedimientos Constitucionales, núm. 137-11, el Tribunal Constitucional dicta decisiones que son definitivas e irrevocables, que constituyen precedentes vinculantes para los poderes públicos y todos los órganos del Estado. El Tribunal Constitucional es autónomo de los demás poderes públicos y órganos del Estado y posee autonomía administrativa y presupuestaria.

Dirigida al público en general y la comunidad jurídica nacional e internacional.

La ciudadanía en general, comunidad jurídica nacional e internacional, organismos homólogos al Tribunal Constitucional dominicano, que difundiendo de una manera efectiva la información sobre las resoluciones, gestión y actividades que realiza, dando a conocer la importante labor que realiza la alta corte en defensa de la Constitución dominicana y los derechos fundamentales de los ciudadanos dominicanos.
