You can share your WiFi router with PubliFi and make it open to all users or, you can Private share to ensure that only selected users can gain access to your WiFi hotspot. Get a stable internet connection without any data usage limits everywhere you go with PubliFi. We also provide essential WiFi services such as WiFi security checking, internet connection speed testing and router management to ensure you have complete control over your WiFi hotspot.
Main Features of PubliFi
Affordable Internet:
PubliFi makes it possible for our users to get extremely low-cost or entirely free WiFi easily. A user can gain access to WiFi routers shared by other users. They can find and automatically connect to shared WiFi hotspots, no password required. Users can watch ads or pay to get WiFi balance and use the internet without worrying about data limits.
Points & Rewards:
Our users can win points for sharing their WiFi routers and other activities in the app.
Collected points can be exchanged for internet balance or cash rewards.
Password Security:
Our users share their internet voluntarily and by doing so they also get access to free internet all around the world.
All shared wifi passwords will not be revealed. They’re all encrypted to protect users’ privacy and security.
Private Sharing:
Users can also use the Private Share feature to allow WiFi access to only selected users.
Private sharing will open up a fnf (friends & family) list. After sharing a WiFi privately the user can easily add or remove fnf members to the list without any limits.
WiFi Map:
The map shows wi-fi hotspots already Shared on the PubliFi app. Also, Bounty Wi-fi which are hotspots requested by many users to be shared on the app. You can get detailed info about any hotspot along with the directions to reach it. The map also shows clusters of available hotspots in different areas along with the number of hotspots in those clusters. After loading the WiFi map for the first time with internet connection the map would work and give directions offline as well.
Auto Connect:
Users will get notification when there is an available wifi hotspot nearby and when the user comes into the range of an available hotspot they will get automatically connected to the internet as long as there is Wifi Balance in their app account.
Security Checking:
Users can check whether their WiFi hotspots are secured and learn about recommended actions to ensure WiFi security.
WiFi Management:
Check your internet connection speed with our in-app speed test.
Access your router admin panel and configure settings from within the app.
Built-in Web Browser:
Users can get unlimited WiFi balance as long as they stay on the built-in web browser.
Connect to any shared WiFi hotspot and use uninterrupted internet on the browser. Use all your favorite sites, watch videos, listen to music, enjoy sports or play free online games without downloading.
Diagnosis:
Users can identify the specific list of issues which are responsible for poor internet connection quality. The diagnosis feature will conduct all necessary tests such as ping check, jitter, traceroute, and wi-fi signal strength check and present the data in a simplified manner. Also, all devices connected to a shared wi-fi node would also get detected through the diagnosis check.
