Sangha App 2
Description:
NEW DESIGN
It's more intuitive, shiny & spacious, manifesting new features and benefits. Everybody with the Transmission from Chögyal Namkhai Norbu or Yeshi Silvano Namkhai can be part of it, discovering and enjoying its full potential.

CHANNELS
There's a new, long-awaited section offering group chats. Practitioners can instantly ask, advise, share and discuss topics with the global Vajra family (PC access from mahasangha.net included). Individuals can create their own channel on any topic, as needed. The channel can be public to everyone on the app or restricted to invited participants only. This is a dedicated online space for information and discussions about the Teaching - all held privately and securely within the Dzogchen Community, out of commercial social networks.

PERSONALIZED CONTENT
Every user can choose the preferences according to the language, location and Teaching topics. The suggestions in the sections of Home, Events, People, Channels & Places will be displayed based on the tags one has chosen as personal preferences. For better overview, all sections have lists of the content one is already connected to, f.e. planned events, friends, followed channels, places etc.There are filters to select what's just needed at the moment as well. It offers many tools to find everything one wishes.

HOME SWEET HOME
Everything what's happening is unified in the Home section: current events, latest discussion posts, last active practitioners. There is also a new Mirror banner which is linked to the news from the Dzogchen Community just published in the Melong.com

PREVIOUS SANGHA APP & SANGHA APP 2

Of course, the new version Sangha App 2 contains also everything that was offered in the older version of Sangha App, including:
- Overview of the events (public and restricted) organized by Dzogchen Community and its practitioners
- Popular Alendar providing details according to Tibetan astrology
- Possibility to add events to the phone's calendar
- Possibility to contact by direct messages all worldwide practitioners presented in the app
- Notifications reminding Ganapujas and events one plans to attend
- Instant Presence Reminder (besides its current function available, there will be released its new global feature soon)
- Guru Wisdom - quotes from Chögyal Namkhai Norbu

The quotes will introduce new content from the 3rd March 2022. Every week will be published another quote from Dorje Sempa Namkhache book according to its structure. It will be possible to be reminded with the quote by push notifications in chosen frequency, same way as in the Instant Presence Reminder.

Please note:
An old version of Sangha app will still work simultaneously with the Sangha App 2, but it will not contain the Channels section. Other content will be the same on both apps for a certain period of time. Later, when the majority of users join the Sangha App 2, the old version will no longer be supported. This will happen by the end of 2022.

*Sangha App 2 is made by members of the Dzogchen Community as a gift to the Dzogchen Community. It is for free, there are no ads and no catches. It keeps its original purpose - to provide a safe space for sharing information privately and securely among DC practitioners.
