No need for third-party SMS gateways: your messages are sent from your mobile device and your own number (using your mobile plan/carrier; carrier fees may apply), ensuring fast and reliable delivery with improved privacy. Logs can be stored locally on your device. It also comes with ongoing integration of new communication channels.

* SEND_SMS: allows sending SMS from your own phone and number using your mobile plan. Used only for user-initiated messages. Depending on enabled features (e.g., incoming SMS synchronization), additional permissions may be required.
* RECEIVE_SMS / READ_SMS: required to receive, read, and centralize incoming SMS (dashboard/API), enable synchronization, and run certain automations based on received messages.
* CONTACTS: optional, allows easier contact selection and displays the contact name/number when sending SMS (including Rich SMS).
