Description
Esta plataforma es de acceso ilimitado para los alumnos ITSON, y puede ser de gran apoyo para los distintos niveles profesionales que la Institución ofrece a la comunidad.
El acceso a la aplicación es mediante el uso del ID de alumno ITSON, el cual consta de 11 dígitos, y una contraseña vinculada a los sistemas institucionales como Biblioteca, ITSON Virtual, Titulación Web, Portal de Sistemas, entre otros.
En cuanto a su estructura, Potros ITSON permite a los usuarios consultar su información académica, como el progreso y promedio general, así como las horas liberadas correspondientes al programa intercultural, vida saludable y servicio social (aplicable únicamente para alumnos de licenciatura).
Además, los usuarios pueden revisar las materias aprobadas y en las que están inscritos, su horario de clases y, si se encuentran en periodo vacacional por término de semestre, consultar su próxima cita de inscripción. También es posible verificar adeudos vigentes en conceptos como colegiatura, biblioteca, laboratorios o documentos, lo cual es útil para evitar retenciones en el proceso de inscripción.
Para aquellos estudiantes que cursan más de una carrera, la aplicación permite consultar el historial académico de ambas trayectorias dentro de la misma plataforma. Asimismo, los usuarios pueden generar su credencial de alumno de manera digital desde la aplicación, lo que facilita su identificación y acceso a servicios institucionales.
La aplicación también pone al alcance de sus usuarios un chat de mesa de ayuda para la resolución de problemas y comunicación directa a través de su correo electrónico. Así mismo, cuenta con un mapa de aulas de la institución para una mejor ubicación dentro del campus.
Es importante señalar que los usuarios recibirán notificaciones relacionadas con distintos avisos institucionales, como adeudos, próxima cita de inscripción, eventos culturales o deportivos, entre otros. Estas notificaciones se activan siempre que la aplicación se mantenga en uso activo.
Para atención personalizada, el usuario deberá acercarse a las distintas instancias que conforman los campus de la universidad. Sin embargo, Potros ITSON pone a disposición el siguiente correo electrónico: soluciones@itson.edu.mx, para reportar cualquier problema relacionado con el uso de la aplicación.
